I am sorry for asking what is most likely a stupid question but here goes.
as stated I have the 231 t-case. when I pull into 4 hi part time are all 4 tires "locked" and moving at the same speed?
same question goes for 4 low part time are all 4 tires locked together and spinning at the same speed?

 

Not unless you have lockers front and rear. Open diffs front and rear will allow one tire on each axle to slip freely.

 

what are some affordable Lockers? this is my DD and I am slowly getting into wheeling. is there any lockers that won't greatly effect my mileage and the bank?
