SO, Ive taken out all the bolts that hold the tail house on, and all the bolts that holds the halfs together. The halfs slide apart about an Inch, and the tail house slides off about an inch, but it wont come apart and I'm wondering whats stopping it.

I still have the nut on the front drive shaft output yoke and the rear output shaft still has this little metal cap looking thing on the end of it around the shaft, does this need to come off?

This is just a spare case I'm practicing on and getting the chain out of. I ordered a master rebuild kit for mine from JBconversions which should be here in a week or so.

if i remember correctly there is like a little seal at the end of the tail housing that holds the slip yolk in that you have to pop off. and than it should pop off and i think there is a lock ring infront of the back half of the houseing on the main shaft

You do have to take the yoke off of the front to get the halves to come apart as the shaft has to come out with the rear section because of the way that the chain is mounted
