Question brake line extensions

so has anyone made home made brake line extension?
ive heard a rumor of people useing chevy 3500 brake lines before
but never found anything that worked
i work at an auto parts store and spend plenty of time dicking around in the brake hose section with something that will match up
the best ive found were pontiac sunfire lines that have 2 ,3/16 females and a 7 inch house which wouldent be so bad if i were to rig something up.
i was curious as what work the best.
id rather rig something up rather than brake the quadratec 100$ brake hoses. any help or insight?
thanks
-frank

what size lift are you going for? if you are keeping it 3-4" check these out... cheap and easy to install... i have them on mine and with the front and rear fully extended down wthe shocks and shackles removed, the lines still have a bit of play. I have about 4.5-5" of lift.

Check mid 90's dodge van brake lines....... they are supposed to be about 8" longer than stock XJ's. Also was told Durango 4x4 brake lines were longer.
