Default 2001 xj only left front flashing with hazzards.

As the tittle says. I turn on my hazzard lights and only the left front blink. My turn signals function properly. Any ideas?
Thanks.

The problem is usually in the switch...try this repeatedly turn the hazzards off and on (use a little force) you will probably find that they will start to function....or function intermittently...worked my switch and now all ok. Suspect dirty contacts inside switch

I'm not sure if this bulb has two filaments inside or not but some auto bulbs are dual filament. That means when you turn a switch on for lets say the blinker one filament is used, caution lights may use both. It might not be the reason why its not working but check your bulb and or replace to see if maybe that's all it is.

Before you take the switch out change the relay. It is a lot easier to change. I went through the trouble of changing the switch first and it was not the problem.
