Default 2001 Sport rear wiper

Some time ago my rear wiper would not apply washer fluid or stay on its single speed. The button has two positions. The first position is for intermittent, and it was working fine. Now, the button will not depress at all. I don't know what would cause this. The fuse is good. 2001 Cherokee Sport 4WD.

I also have 01 sport. My switch does depress but only works like it is washing the window and then stops. I would guess that the switch has just gone bad on mine. Sounds like yours is just broken. They are not expensive or even a JY one if you can find one in the year range.

Thanks for the reply. The button almost seems like it's stuck b/c it will not push in at all. It's really not that big of a deal, but the streets around here are really wet after the snow and ice which makes it hard to see through.

56007249 is the part number. Can't vouch for the site myself, I will be checking other vendors and the dealer, I need one myself.

The switch pops right out of the bezel, remove the trim around the stereo, switches, remove three screws, pull bezel out, remove cable and gently remove switch with a small flat tip screw drive by lifting plastic over tab on top and bottom of switch module.
