2001 Cherokee turn signals not working
Daughter's 2001 Cherokee turn signals have quit working. Bulbs appear to be okay. Some times they would, then would not work. Now they have totally quit.
Any suggestions.

i have the same issue but I know how to tackle it a bit
1. start with this first and is the the cheapest solution. It could be just be your flasher relay. Here's a vid on how to replace it. its about 20 bucks or so at local auto parts store. Takes literally 5 minutes to do!
2. If #1 does not work, Its your multifunction switch (your blinker handle) need to be switched. The piece can cost around 50$ bucks or so. Went to the mechanic and they diagnosed it for me. gonna get around to it pretty soon, but don't worry this is a very common issue among XJ's
Hope this helps! Let me know hoe it goes!

Thank you
Yes, that helps big time. It tells me I better take it to the repair shop since I had a knee replaced recently and there is no way I am getting down on the concrete on my knees right now. Maybe another 3 months and I could, but just not now.

2001 Cherokee turn signals not working
First check the hazards. If they click, just not coming on all four corners, its the switch and not the flasher relay. I pulled my switch apart and was able to clean up all the contacts and put it back together. It took me a very frustrated 30 minutes from start to finish, but cost me $0

Question about this. When I turned on my blinkers they would work for about 3 or 4 clicks and then stop, even through the switch level was still activated. I replaced the relay and that seem to fix that, but after 2 weeks or so, the relay started to make the clicking sound as if the blinkers were on but there were not.
I then replaced the switch thinking there was a short or something there. After a day or so the clicking is back. It comes and goes so I'm not sure what is causing the relay to click. Could it be a bad relay ?
