Default 2001 Cherokee turn signal/brake light issues

first of let me say that i have searched high and low for a solution to my problem. i have found a handful of similar issues, but none quite the same as mine.

i have running lights, but no brake lights.
i have hazards, but not turn signals (no flash on dash or tail lamps nor any noise).
no reverse lights.

i have replaced both the flasher relay and the multifunction switch.
all fuses have been checked, i went through it with a test light. what i had found is that i am not getting power to the ignition terminal on the flasher relay. i am not 100% sure what that means. hopefully someone on this board can shed some light.

Have you checked the wiring that goes to the rear tail lamps?

That's what I would check. Could be a bad ground on one corner throwing everything off.

Well I kinda wrote off ground issue due the fact that I still have rear running lights. Also that the ignition terminal on the flasher relay is not getting power.
(But will look into it.)

I feel like I isolated the issue just do not know what it means.

Thanks for the replies, I figured that this is such a beat topic that no one would chime in.

As an electronics tech, I say that same thing all the time. Then something unrelated bites me in the ***.
