Hi all,
New to the site and new Jeep owner. I just purchased a 2001 Cherokee Sport and it doesn't have the fog lights or overhead console. Does anyone know if I can install the used units I find on e-bay? I'm just not sure if my wiring harness has the connectors or would I need to splice connections in?

I am new also, but I can tell you that many people on here say "stay away from Ebay parts, they are junk!"
As far as the overhead console, I haven't done it but would like too as well. People have said it really isn't that bad, but you will have to do some rewiring, there is not a harness waiting for you to plug something into. You will also have to add sensors for temp., direction. etc. If we could get some more info. on that it would be great.

Why not hit a junkyard? you could get what youd want as well as trace some wires to see what you may need to route/splice/add

 

Not all Ebay stuff is garbage. Its just the fact that you have to weed through the garbage to find the good stuff. It rarely happens I need or want something, jump on Ebay and find it (a quality part). You really just have to watch what you buy, that's anywhere really though.

Also I agree with the Junk yard(JY) post. You may be able to find the parts you need from one. If not complete you may find the majority of it then hit up Ebay.
