I am getting ready to sell my 2001 Jeep Cherokee and took it to an auto detailer yesterday. When I picked it up, the airbag dash light came on and stayed on. Wondering if a wire was pulled loose under the seat? Other possibilities?

First ask them if they did anything while it was there? They might have forgotten to connect something up.
Then check for any codes to help trouble shoot.

 

The airbag computer in a 2001 is under the center console. They moved it in 98/99 cause under the seat kept causing corrosion and random deployment issues.
