2000 XJ, tint IN the glass or ON the glass?
I have a 2000 XJ sport, is the tint IN the glass or ON the glass? I searched. Really.
I'm gonna get limo tint on all windows except windshield as I'm in Phoenix AZ. I know the law, I'll risk the ticket. I would prefer to remove stock tint myself instead of applying new tint over ANY shade that is currently on (or in?) the glass for a more uniform appearance.
Also, anyone from Phoenix want to recommend a tint shop?

most of the time its in the glass. Take a small nail or knife and try to make a tiny tiny scratch or hole, if it scratches glass its in, if it tears the tint, you have your answer
