Most TPS sensors are three wire sensors. One gives 5v input, a ground, then the return to the ECM. That's the one you are looking for. Should be about .5 to .75v. Check to make sure its around there and then slowly turn the throttle all the way to WOT slowly (motor off key on) checking that the volts rise slowly with it until it reaches 4.5 to 5v. Also don't want any dead spots. I replaced the one on son #2s because it read fine at idle but had a dead spot around 45mph that caused some bucking.
