2000 stock xj loss of oil pressure gauge and cam shaft positon sensor
i was on the highway going 65 when i lost my oil presure guage so i stopped and shut off the engine. when i went to restart i was given engine code no signal from cps which i had recently replaced. any ideas or questions to help me trouble shoot?

sheer pin on the crank shaft transfer gears. because it was a cold start the pin sheered with the thick oil in the pump. every thing is back p and running thanks for thelink it brought me to the answer
