Default 2000 stalled out of nowhere

I have a 2000 Xj with 100314 (100k) on the odometer. After sitting in the drive through line for 25 minutes last night I got up to the window to pay and felt two hard jolts then it stalled. I waited about a minute then I restarted it, it fired up and I drove away. About a half mile away it stalled again while I was slowing down to make a right turn. I felt the same jolt as before right before it stalled. It wouldn't restart right away. It took about 20 minutes then it restarted. Just as info the temp gauge was just a little over 210 in the drive through line, and I had my e-fan going (on a switch). Gas in in between a 1/4 and half, and battery is good. The check engine light did come on--code is p0352. it will start up but it doesn't seem like it is running smooth. Not misfiring, just not right. Any help is greatly appreciated. Thanks

Same thing happened to me but with no code yesterday on my '98. Died on the road out in the middle of nowhere, like I had turned off the ignition. It had fuel pressure (could hear the pump and seemed like a lot of pressure in the fuel rail). I figured it would be cheaper for the closest shop to fix it than to get it towed all the way home. The shop replaced the CPS and the coil, works fine now. If I understand correctly the 2000 ignition you don't have a coil like most of us

Do you have fuel pressure? If so, check the spark. I would start with the CPS. There is a testing procedure that has been posted many times. Get a Mopar one if it needs replacing, should be $80.

thanks. I will check those out....the 2000 has a coil rail, which I don't know much about; but I imagine if it or the harness goes bad it could cause this too.
