Did about ten minutes of mudding in my pasture. Disengaged 4hi and drove 100 yards and shut her off to go inside. Came vack out 20 min later and turned her on and she shook when started. Srove slowly and it stopped. Ten miles and several stop and go's later all is fine. Shifted into 4x4 and it still works great. Any need for concern or checks I need to make?

Ok... The motor was shaking correct? Not like you had mud inside your rims and was causing it to vibrate like crazy? If its just mud packed then it will cause things to not be balanced... It is was just the motor then we can look at something else.... Did you drive through a lot of water or just mud? If there was a lot of water then your coils could have gotten wet or something of that sort.... Did it ever do that when you take it to the car wash?

Check your airbox and distributor for water, I had this happen to me once after hitting some deep puddles too hard. Once everything dried out the engine ran much better.
