Default 2000 Cherokee front diff cable or vacuum?

was working on a buddies 2000 cherokee this weekend and the line going to the front diff had fallen down and was tore up by the front drive shaft, is this just a vacuum line or is it a cable?

If you are talking about the tube coming off the differential, that is the vent tube for the axle. Just go to the parts store and get a new length of tube the same size. It should run up the firewall next to the brake booster. Just use a couple of zip ties to hold it in place.
