Need more info... like is it auto or manual? But most likely you have the Dana 30 front and Dana 35 rear axles unless you have the tow package in which case you might have the dana 44 rear.

You can find out the rear axle info by crawling under and taking a picture and posting it here for us... or try to identify it by using the info on this page...

As for the tcase gears... they do have a teraflex low range kit... it will cost ya though!

its an auto.
It has the 35 rear i think. I looked at some site that showed what they look like. its got the ovalish diff. but it has some type of tow package. its like attached to the bumper and it looks weak.

I dont know what kind of tcase it has to redo the gears

Most just regear the axles or replace the tcase.

You can look at pics on the net, just google image search Dana 35 or Chrysler 8.25

Start here....

What year is your Cherokee?

Unless is really late its got a HP D30 up front, not a standard pinion D30.

It's easily identifiable by the round tag on the rear of the TC. Your Model # will be there...

That tag should also tell you gear ratios if I remember correctly.

crawler gears for the t-case run about a grand. so most chose to get 4:56 gears in the axles to get better low range and not mess with the t-case
