Default 2" Lift W/Stock Shocks?

Will this work? 2" blocks and coil spacers on stock shocks? Or will longer shocks be necessary?

you can run you stock shocks on 2" lift..
your shocks droop from the factory.. so 2" is the max you can go without swapping them for new ones.. but later on when money is not so tight get yourself some longer shocks.. so you flex it out more..

i would sugest useing extended shackles insted of blocks... blocks put alot of stress on your leaves and can cause them to sag easier. thats what i did... also added +2" shocks but your stockers will do just fine

Ive been told that shackles also cause extra stress that will lead to leaf spring sag. Also, ive herd since they are lifting from the rear of the leaf, that they somewhat rotate the axle unaligning the driveshaft

yeah i have heard that as well with the rear drop shackels, but i think i would go with a longer shock so you can flex it out more.

The drop shackle might change the angle less than 1 degree if that much.
And will point the diff up towards the tranny

What do you think am I close?

shouldnt cause any more stress then your current shackles.... blocks create stress on the center point.... shackles are also cheap and stronger. my driveline is no different with the longer shackles and seems to flex better..

Do you have to get the XJ re-aline after you install the 2" lift?

So if i chose to go with shackles, are there any shackles out there that will give me a true 2" of lift?
