depends on how bad your leafsprings are.

If you are only looking for 2" then check this out:

Save yourself some money and get the personal pride and satisfaction of building it yourself. Plus it saves you a bunch of cash for stuff that you'll need at 2" of lift. Like skid plates. Or a nice set of 31" tires!

nope. with just 2 inches factory shocks will do just fine.

it's not a bad idea to replace 14 year old shocks, but they are not cheap. and if your leafs are collapsed, or near collapsed, add-a-leaf will not do too much good.

i have a 87 xj and it sits lower in the frount if i added v8 springs how much lift would i expect also iam lookiing at a 2 inch lift kit. sorry if i am hacking the thread

which shocks would be the best bang for the buck? Mine are very bad and leak.

x2. some ride much stiffer than the others. a lot of people seem to prefer old man emu
