Default 2.5L valve adjustment?

Hey all.
I can find information in my manual about 6 cylinder valve adjustments, and even lash adjustment... nothing in there about the 2.5L which I find rather irritating. There is valve servicing, as in tearing the head down, inspecting, and replacing worn out parts... but nothing in there about a general valve adjustment, or even lash adjustment (I have a little valve tap, and it would be nice to eliminate it). Does anyone have a resource or a webpage link that would outline the adjustment procedure and clearances?

While I do understand that the I6 is the better and more popular engine, I find it annoying that my manual just overlooks this aspect of the 4 cylinder.
Maybe I need a better manual.

Edit: Are these auto adjusted by hydraulic lifters? That would explain the lack of adjustment. So, the tick would be caused by wear then? It tends to get a little better as the engine warms. It's been that way since I purchased the car though, so I don't think it is overly urgent. Lol.
