So here is what my 99 XJ has been doing lately:

- The lights on the drivers side control panel cut in and out. When they are off nothing works (windows, mirror control, locks); when they are on everything works fine.
- The keyless entry will cut in and out as well. I can tell it is receiving signal because the dome light comes on, however the locks will not move.
- Passangers side door will not open or close the window.

All of these issues come in and out with no apparent pattern...

Would replacing the drivers side door panel fix these issues? Or merely a bad connection somewhere? It is somewhat difficult to troubleshoot because one minute it all works fine then the next minute everything quits. I wanted to see if anyone had input before I order the part.

I would check to see how many wires are broken in the door loom before I spent any dough on it.

X2... what Turbo X_ J said.... they are notorious for developing shorts in the door wiring looms. Fairly easy to fix most the time, just time consuming.

Or swap in a junkyard harness if you are lazy like me. The entire door harness is modular and unplugs at the respective kick panel. Wrapped mine in gorilla tape to try and prevent any chafing

My passenger window still won't work though, havent spent the time to figure out why yet
