Common problem. Most likely the window lock on the master control.
Some resolder the master control.

Some guys hack the wiring behind the panel where the hood release is.
Google it.
And some guys like me just buy a new master control. LOL.

The first time this happened to me it was the wiring in both driver and passenger front doors being damaged and having to repair them.

Then it happened again after all the buttons starting falling off my cheap window switch and breaking lol

Currently the issue is gone after buying a good quality window switch.

now the windows can only go up and cannot go down. the master as well as the door switches only let the windows go up but not down?

Seems odd.
Did you solder or buy a new switch?
Have you owned the Jeep long enough to know if they ever worked right?

all worked fine since i had the jeep but as i mostly alone i use the master switches at driver side, turning all windows up or down, last week i noticed no door switch work so after i posted and then re soldered those 2 points, i checked and doors switches worked but as i was hasty tried to solder nice today and after fitting everything all windows can only let the windows go up. can it be that the solder is to close to each other?

Anything is possible.
Thinking might not be a bad idea to check the connections to the master switch too.
Maybe you bent a pin on the switch putting the connector back on and it is not making contact.

Just the bright on the right?
Low bean works?
If this were me I would check to see if the connectors are getting power with my meter first.
