I’m a new member to this forum so if i post this in the wrong forum i apologize.

Here’s what’s going...
My 99 Cherokee was running good Not overheating always running a constant 200-210 and one day i noticed some brown muck under the bottom of my radiator cap so i decided to order a new mishimoto aluminum radiator. I also went ahead and replaced thermostat and all hoses as well and flushed everything thoroughly. Then went for a test drive and it only went about 1 to 2 miles and it overheated. (This was not happening before) I then replaced my thermostat sensor and water pump. On test drive #2 it did the same thing. There seems to be a lot of pressure so I’m thinking it’s my head gasket. No white crud in the oil, no smoking occurring from tailpipe. So I’m a bit confused. Before i dive head first into a head and head gasket swap I’m asking if anyone else has had issues like this before or can give me some tips?

Best thing is to test for exhaust gasses in the coolant. It's an easy test. Any auto parts store should carry a kit, and they can be ordered on Amazon.
