Default 1999 Jeep Cherokee Limited Poor Heat

I know there is some write ups on this topic but im stuck, i have a 99 jeep xj limited with 180k on her as my daily driver. it has a new thermostat, newer radiator, 1 yr. old water pump, flushed the heater core. new blower motor resistor.

The problem i have is the heat comes out luke warm. the blower motor works fine in all four settings. i can see the blend door moving back and forth when turning the dial. the motor warms up to just under 210 no problem. and the heater core hoses are hot to the touch.

i noticed when i was screwing around was the cooling system doesnt seem to build pressure. i can squeeze the radaitor hoses with little to no resistance. my 88 wrangler hoses are harder to squeeze when warmed up to normal running temp. theres no moisture in my oil so i dont think the head gaskets bad.

Thanks in advance for any info

Maybe the radiator cap isn't holding the spec pressure (??) If it is, must be a small leak somewhere..

Is it all the way full of fluid? I know when I changed all that on mine I had to run it for a bit add some run it for a bit that add some more. There might be an easier way but that is just what I did.

Did you have a lot of gunk/rust come out of the heater core when you flushed it? It could be that there is a lot of build up still in the heater core and the flow of hot coolant through it is not enough. Mine did this too until I flushed it both ways with a garden hose for 30 min or so until the water was clear.

Doesn't mean it's still attached inside the HVAC box.
