Default 1999 Cherokee Power Door Lock Problem

Have a problem with my 1999 Cherokee Power Door Locks on the Driver Side front and rear Door. When I hit the switch I can hear the accuator in the door working but the doors don't lock. Manul locks work fine.

I have taken the door latches out...the accuator and door latch seem to be intergated in one unit. I have looked on line but can't find replacements.

I have found actuators on line but they look like just the "gun" w/o the latch....

Has anybody had this problem and found a fix? Is there a way to replace the accutaor without the latch? I hate to go to the dealer and buy new accualtor and latch....thoughts???

I tried the spray solution, but it only worked randomly.

Half my XJ comes from ebay. No pick and pulls anywhere near me.

The area makes up for it's remoteness in many ways though.

Thanks Guys...I will try the spray approach and if that doesn't work it sounds like I am off to the salvage yard!!
