hi i got a 1999 jeep cherokee with 150 000 miles i am doing the head gasket can i use anything to clean up the head before i put it back togther that wont harm anything and and when putting in frezze plugs should they go in dry of with so type of sealant thanks any help would be helpful

 

Use permatex #1 for the freeze plug. Plug the cylinders with rags and use a scotchbrite pad.
