Default 1998 xj 2.5td ltd Cherokee

Hi all this is my first post and as usual it starts with some questions.
I have a Novenber 97 Cherokee 2.5td ltd with the VM diesel engine I bought this 4 weeks ago and am slowly working through a set of small problems, the first I would like to get out of the way is to replace the oil pressure sender but it I can not find it it is not on the Oil filter housing and I don't think it is abve the starter motor both positions are mentioned in what manuals I have the oil guage is stuck about on 3/4 of its movement.
The second problem is it accelerates strongly to 2,000 rpm then it fades badly I have to date replaced the air filter, diesel filter, bled the injectors, changed the oil and filter. I wouLd be grateful of any help or photo I can get.

On another note I had to buy to a pair of headlight units in the UK these are over £50 each I replaced the with a pair froma Bedford Rascal/Suzuki supercarry with a miimum amount of work these were £18.00 each or a £5.00 for the pair from a scrappy

I'm also having a problem with the oil pressure sensor, specifically the location. Your readings happened to mine, tracked it down to faulty connectins (wiggled a connector, reading fel to almost zero).

The acceleration issue sounds like your turbo isn't working.

That post was from 2010, I don't think that member is active anymore.
