1998 Jeep Taillight issue
Hi there -- Thanks in advance for any help offered.
I noticed that the driver side taillight was not working on my Jeep, when I went to replace the bulb, I noticed that the same bulb worked fine when the brakes were applied.
Basically -- the bulb only works when the brake is applied, and not when the lights are on. This is only on the driver side -- The RH side seems to operate fine.
Also -- The driver side blinker bulb doesn't seem to work on the front of the vehicle as well -- I don't know if this is related or 2 separate issues....

The tail light bulb has two filaments in it one for tail and the other for brake, sounds like the tail one burnt out. Just replace the bulb with a new one and that should fix it. Front turn signal may have same problem try a new bulb their cheap and easy to replace.
