1998 Jeep Cherokee A/C Issue
I have a 1998 Jeep Cherokee and the A/C is fully charged and works perfect at times. Sometimes when I turn it on it will not come on at all and other
times it will turn on and work perfectly. When it is on the compressor is working and it is blowing cold air and if I switch it to vent and the compressor shuts off and i switch it back to A/C the compressor will not turn back on again. If i let it sit for a period of time it will come back on and run great. Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks
Tom G

Just a guess but it sounds like you may have a loose or dirty connection at the switch. That's where I would start. Good luck!

Does it also take awhile to blow cold? Or get the cabin cooler.
Mine blows cold but i dont think it blows cold enough, takes 10mil drive just to get cabin temp down to comfortable level.

It blows cold right away. i jumpered the sensors and the compressor won't turn back on. I was thinking about changing the switch to see if it would correct it. Thanks there is much valuable info on this forum. It has already helped me to fix a few other issues with my Cherokee.
