Default 88 cherokee aw4 lock up problems

I installed switch to control lock up my self it didnt work I checked ohms for solenoid all three were right around 14 ohms my tranny shifts fine just the converter doesn't lock up

Did it lock up before you installed the switch?

It did but yesterday it stopped locking up I get power in and out of the connector the goes to the trans

How's the adjustment on the white switch at the brake pedal pivot point?

The switch is pressed all the way in when the brake pedal is not pressed and when u push the brake the switch plunger moves out

So, as long as the switch is GOOD, we've eliminated it as a possible cause.

Got an ohmeter?

I get 14 to 15 ohms on all three solenoids at the connector going to the nss

I'm probably not gonna be much help on this since you modded the wiring. Other guys have done what you're attempting to do though. I thought you had just messed with the TC lockup circuit.

I hate to bring this up but the lockup will be solved once you change and adjust the TPS. Renix is a different animal than the later years.

I thought when you put a switch in to control lock up it bypasses all that

I checked the solenoid it works with the switch so I'm confused
