Thanks in advance for the replies.

I have a 1998 Cherokee Sport, 4.0L with 275,000 miles on it.

About a month ago, I started having trouble starting it. I would have to lay on the gas for a minute to keep the idle up, and then it would be fine once it was warmed up.

Now progressively it has gotten worse to the point where it is fine warm, but will stall out again when I shut it off and restart it.

I have replaced wires, plugs, cap, rotor, and IAC.

There have never been any codes thrown.

Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

Did you remove and clean/check the IAT sensor?

 

No, I haven't but I will try that.

Clean the throttle body as well.
