Exclamation 1998 Cheroke 4.0 stalls... any ideas?

i have a 1998 cherokee sport 4.0 4x4 auto aw4. I was driving to work the yesterday and it stalled. I have replaced the pickup coil, dist cap and rotor, coil, plugs and wires... and even the ignition switch. I can get it to start but it stalls again and takes a few min before it starts back up. I have checked the injectors with noid-lights and they are ok... it has 48psi of fuel pressure at the fuel rail... even when it stalls.... anyone have ideas on what else it can be... by the way... no codes are stored and the check engine light is not coming on... when it does start it runs great with no miss or hesitation....

thanks ya....
anthony

The #1 cause of thermal (heat related) failure on the 4.0 is the crank sensor.

The #2 cause is the ignition coil.

But the crank sensor fails way more often. Let us know if a new crank sensor resolves this.
