So I installed a used overhead console in my 2001 today. Everything turned out fine due to the awesome info found here on the forum. Converting the wiring to fit my 2001 plug style was easy enough but there is one thing that has me stumped. The 97 wire harness has two extra wires running to the overhead module. A Gray wire and a Blue/Gray running to connections 4 and 8 at the module. I've been over the diagrams for the compass, remote keyless module, and the overhead module and I cannot figure out what these are for. I left them unterminated for now and everything seems to be working (not positive about the RKE since I didn't even know I had it until now, but it clicked the locks when i plugged the console in). Can anyone tell me what the Gray and Blue/Gray wires are for?
