1997 4.0 won't start
I recently purchased a 1997 Cherokee 4.0. The check engine light came on and the code 11 came up. My dad replaced the crankshaft positioning sensor, but the light failed to go away. I was idling at a stop light and the Jeep sputtered and died.
Now, it WANTS to start but refuses to. It's not the battery, starter, or fuel pump. Does anyone have any input?? Thanks- I'm starting to fall back in love with my 1991!

when i replaced the crankshaft positioning sensor on mine i had to "reset" the guages before the check engine light would go away. which basically means i unhooked the battery and then hooked it back up. if that fixed it until what happened at the stop light maybe you need to check to make sure the sensor is plugged in correctly and that there is nothing blocking it from pluggin in all the way?
