I have a 1996 JEEP Cherokee Country (xj) all 4 of my power windows will not roll down i cheeked the switches and the door switch and others seamed to work and get power i have cheeked my fuses in under the dash and they are good i am at a loss maybe one of yall can help there is a relay panel under the dash but i cant find out what those relays do and i have not cheeked my window regulates could it be a possibility all 4 regulates failed.

 

I think that the 1996 is like my 1992. You might have an issue with the wiring harness under the carpet where your foot rests on the driver's side. It goes from the driver's side to the relays on the passenger's side.

 

In my '99 I had a similar problem. There were 8 breaks and broken insulation in the accordion going into the driver's door. Lots of soldering and they all work from the driver's seat.
