1996 Cherokee No Start Condition
Hello, Newbie here....
I have a 96 cherokee that just died as my wife and I were backing out of the grocery store. I tried to crank again, nothing. I put the key in accessory and listened for the pump nothing. Pulled the hose inlet into the filter and had the wife turn it over, no gas. So, I figured fuel pump. The truck has 123,000 on the clock, so I figured it was time. New pump, nothing. Checked fuses, wiring, etc, NADA. I decided to direct wire the pump with a switch and fuse setup. Disconnected the orange wire and ran my new wire. Pump runs, rail gets pressure, NO start. I am at a loss. Not sure if it has anything to do with the NSS switch issue im having.....I am sure this has been discussed further, but I figured Id give it a shot.
