I traded a guy an old rifle for this vehicle. It had been rolled several months back by his teenaged son...enough said about that.

Anyway, he said it had not been started in about six months and the battery was dead. Took a good battery with me and it started almost instantly... in fact it ran great 130K on the engine. I drove it up on the trailer and left it running for the short ride home (20 minutes) Thinking I'd let it get up to operating temp and check it over good at the house.

Well somewhere on the road it quit running. Tried to start it to back it off the trailer, nada... so pushed it off.

Here we are. fuel pressure is good, pump comes on when the key is switched to run, starter spins the engine no problem, no spark. From the searching I've done on here it appears that it's either the CPS or the PCM...., the CPS is a pita to get too and I'd rather not spend 250.00 "checking" the PCM by buying a new one....

Anything else I should try first? I'm a betting man so what are the educated odds on what fixes it?

Basically got this wreck for the wheels/tires and engine (as a spare)
