Default 1995 cherokee XJ STARTER solenoid wiring diagram

I need to know where the wire goes from the starter solenoid …not the constant hot or the one that is only hot when the starter is on..i need to wire from the starter to the ignition switch wire digram and can't find anywhere…anyone have any ideas? i have traced it to the the "cannon plug" but can't figure out if it goes from there…

thanks 1995 jeep cherokee xj 4.0 straight 6…5spd manual.

There isn't a wire directly from the solenoid to the ignition switch. There is a relay in between.
The ignition switch supplies power to a "start" relay in the PDC. That relay is grounded through the NSS, at least in an automatic.
If you are in Park or Neutral (automatic, I'm not sure if the Manual is interlocked?) AND turn the key, the relay closes and sends power to the starter solenoid.
I don't have a drawing available. What isn't happening? No start?

Just temporarily swap another relay in there and see if that fixes it. You can use the A/C relay or aux e-fan relay for testing purposes.
