Hi guys I inherited a 94 Cherokee and it seemed to have a bad fuel pump. We replaced the fuel pump which improved how the Jeep runs, but once in a while I would be driving about, park, then come back out, and the Jeep won't turn over.

Upon further diagnosis I came to the conclusion that the wiring that passes through the sending unit to the fuel pump is intermittent. I have been trying to track down a new sending unit with no luck.

Does anyone know if a different model would fit? I could care less about the fuel gauge being accurate. I just want the fuel pump to work properly. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The fuel pump itself you can find various numbers that fit. But the whole sending unit is solely up to 96.
