Jeep won't start
Replace fuel pump and starter and it won't start even though it's getting gas all the way up but not into the engine. We haven't checked the fuel pressure with a gauge but it has quite a bit of pressure. The codes don't show anything but it does register 'done' which makes me think that the computer is okay. Can it be the CAM sensor? The Jeep has been sitting for a month and the battery died but we jumped it and it will start for a few seconds when we squirt some fuel into the top. HELLO! Anybody out there? I have a mechanic and we're needing some opinions about my 2004 Jeep GC Limited 4.7 Liter. ANYBODY???

Check the fuel pressure with a gauge. See if it will start with starting fluid. If it does, you have a fuel problem. If it doesn't, you have a spark problem.
