Default 1994 Jeep XJ Hard cold start

My 1994 Jeep XJ has hard starting problems when cold, under 50. Not battery, running dual batteries. Not crank sensor, replaced 4 months ago. Recent tune up, plugs, coil & wires. When it is cold I get no check engine light or fuel pump. If I leave ignition on, check engine light and fuel pump activate after several min. Auto shut down relay replaced also. After it is warm start on first crank. Any suggestions?

if its cold and damp could be a exposed wire thats pulling moisture in on it.

No, normal operation. no check engine light. just hard cold start. What drivers fuel pump and check engine light at ignition on condition?

Double checked everything, Neutral safety has been acting up. What is the negative if I bypass that?

You mean no power when key is first turned correct ? Possible ignition switch issue ?

I'm with you - the problem is not clearly defined.

Please define "several min".

Several min after I turn on the ignition. any where from 2-5 min with ignition on the check engine light and fuel pump come on. Then I have to cycle ignition at lease 4 times to start truck. I guess priming the fuel system.

Yeah, sounds like it's priming that gets you started, but 2-5 min ignition on before the check engine light and fuel pump come on?

I'd be looking at the computer.

Turn key to run and check for power at fuse box under dash above brake pedal .

Have power when key is turned. Not a switch issue. No check engine light or fuel pump for several mins. After that I have to cycle key several times, at least 4 for it to start. I am heading to J/U in the morning to pull a computer or 2 and see if that is the problem.
