1993 xj wont start after stalling it in gear
I let my girlfriend take my jeep to work, she is new to driving a stick, she stalled it in reverse trying to pull out of her work, she tried to restart it but nothing, turns over but just wont start, anyone have ideas on this? Its a 93 sport, 4.0 ho with a 5 speed.

Pull the fuel pump relay and see if it will start. Mine will do this once in a while. Once it starts it will only run for a few moments and then die. Put the relay back and restart it.

You need to first see if you have spark.
Remove a spark plug, keep it attached to the plug wire, place the plug electrode near a good engine ground, have a buddy crank the engine while you watch; you are looking for a strong, blue, snapping spark. Yellow/orange/white spark is a weak spark which may not be enough to start your engine.
Verifying spark is job #1.
