Default 1990 Jeep Cherokee

Ok anybody that wants to help cause I need it lol. Ok so a while back I put a new cps in (crank shaft position sensor) so after I did that it ran better fixed my problems then one day I’m driving to work and it shuts off so I thought it was the wiring to the cps so I cut the plug ins and wired it straight up. Well last week. I decided to fix it right bought the harness plug and the new sensor. Well put it all together and then I start for 1 second and I guess when the cps isn’t agreeing with what’s happening it cuts the spark not sure. But It starts and shuts off within a second. Any help I appreciate thanks.

What brand CPS you using? Get a MOPAR if yours isn't.

Yea, check that ceramic resistor on the fender near the battery. YOu can bypass it permanently, or just to check.

In my sig are pictures and a link to Crusier"s stuff you should see.

This could be an issue if not routed correctly. Also, the CPS can be tested.

That might be correct. Three wire plug with two wires left, (drivers side) of the valve cover.
