1990 instrument panel
Hi all, I have a 1990 Cherokee that has the base insturment panel and I would like to up-grade it to a full instrument ( tach, oil pressure, volt, water temp, trip, ) panel. Will it plug and play or will it require re-wireing the whole thing? Also, would removing the front drive shaft free up a couple more miles to the gallon of gas?

Removing the driveshaft will free up maybe 0.002 hp IMHO. Not worth the time nor effort. As to increased MPG I think that will be as insignificant as the hp gains.
