I paid 1,200 for mine. its pretty clean inside and out. kid drove it for his DD... engine and tranny feel real tight and solid... 4wd works great so far... feels like this thing could crawl up a wall on 4lo.... anyways, anything around a thousand or less for a good running 4x4 is a good deal...

Last year I saw a Briarwood at the lot 1st day it was there. Asked the guy, he said they would clean it up and price it at end of that week. I scoured the jeep and waited. At end of week checked their price online and it was $400. What the? So i printed their post and ran down there. Lucky for me. It was supposed to be $1400.
Hah. They honored their post though and I got a great XJ for cheap.

Manuals are good for me since when I'm wheeling I don't talk much. Sooooo when my girlfriend see's me put it in 1st(i usually wheel in second until a challenge comes along) she yells at everyone in the car to hold on tight!
The main reason I like the manuals is that they seem to be able to take more torture! I daily drive my rig and still push it to the limit on the trails. This one time I had to drive for 2 weeks on a bent and cracking lower control arm until I could get a replacement. (fixed my death wobble for the time being lol)
And I'm not hating on the renix, it just takes more effort than I like to put in!

the stock electronics are still a regular 4.0.
( the difference between the h.o and regular is the cam shaft and some programming)
and the model makes no difference on reliability. but a lerado will have more options(more stuff to break but it really depends on the mileage)
