I went to start it today after work, i turned the key and no dash lights. the dome light was on and working. i turned the key and nothing. tried again and it cranked but would not start. i tried several more times then held the gas down a little and it started but would not hold an idle. eventually it held an idle but it was low (500rpm) and was shakey. drove it home with a ses light. i got home and shut it off, went to restart it and as soon as it kicked over all the lights went out but it started. the ses light was gone and the radio was reset. So im thinking there is some kind of short or over load when it first starts but im not sure where or where to look.

plugs, wires, cap, rotor, battery, are all brand new. never had a ses light before and i dont think i can pull the codes cause every time i start it everything resets.

any ideas?
