1988 jeep cherokee fuse box

1988 jeep cherokee fuse box
My brother tried fixing back window wiper and plugged in a loose plug and it melted fuse into fuse box for wiper and can't get fuse out. Now he doesn't have back up lights or tail lights and flashers continually flash. How involvwed is it to change fuse box or do you think that is the problem? This is a 1988 Jeep Cherokee.
