Default at 189,000 miles, how are everyones transfer cases holding up (NP-231's)

Im pretty sure Im getting another 231 transfer case, but it has 189,000 miles on it. My cherokee has 189,000 miles and the chain slips BAD. Was mine just maybe beat on, or are most of the transfer cases going up then?

I have owned several cherokee's and never had a problem with the xfer case,I am sure some do but I think it is pretty tough overall. Mine have had well over 200k.

Cool

I agree,, I have owned many of these. They hold up well, you still get your worn out little buggers every now and then
