For most of you that have done this, getting that heavy ***** cylinder head out of the engine bay is a pain in the butt (in my case my back) but thats not my main problem. after pulling it and resting for a minute
i looked to see if there was any cylinder wall damage and for the most part it looks good but i see a couple of the back cylinder walls have little rusty bumps in one little area on the wall of each of the back 4 walls. anyone know if I would have to go get this machined or can I do something about it in my garage? i do not have a camera at this point due to my father borrowing it. so if anyone can point me in the right direction with out them that would be awesome!

got a strait edge or long level thats straight make sure the heads not warped and make sure theres no hair line cracks now the time to check
Most cyclinder hones are between 180 and 320 grit. However I have never taken sand paper to a cyclinder wall so maybe someone else can chime in.
When I did my head gasket I had a local shop due the head work. For $200 they gave it a valve job and resurfaced it to fix my coolant leak. I would get the Fel-pro gasket set, $80, as it has every gasket you will need for the job.
Good luck.

well I actually have another question. i just noticed that the 2 back and 2 front pistons are at the same level but the 2 middle pistons are lower in the block. is that normal? this is my first time ever doing this by the way
