Default Is 1/8" box tubing adequate for rock sliders?

Title says it... Is 1/8th inch box tubing strong enough for rock sliders? Im building my own and am hoping the tubing I got isn't too skimpy.

Go 3/16" or 1/4" for sure.

Nope. I don't think so imo i wouldn't even go with 1/4. 3/16 is your best option. Little bit goes long way.

You do know that 1/4" is thicker than 3/16"...right?

Yes I do. I'm a welder hence "a little bit goes a long way" I just think that 1/4 inch even though it is a 1/16 bigger it does add up on weight. So as i said before I believe 3/16 is the best option little bit cheaper and a little bit lighter. and as far as strength goes 3/16 will hold up just as good as 1/4 for what he is doing. I apologize if my previous statement confused people thinking that 3/16 was bigger than 1/4.
