I have the OME light duty kit.The rear springs are 2inch,the front is 1.75,I added a second isolater to get 2.5 up front. I love the ride and flex off road.

transfer case will be fine, and you can run the stock shocks. Why go to all the work and cost of changing out springs for only 1.5 inches?

I will be pulling a used 3" OEM kit out of my jeep in a couple weeks if you are interested. It was bought in 2005 and still rides very nice! *no shocks included*

I have the omu heavy duty kit(3" of lift) same as used above. I love the ride. You will need shocks though. Stocks would be maxed. Remember lifting in will not ride like stock, so don't be mad when doesn't. Will need to budget for an alignment and at least adj. Track bar. Good luck!

you are the first person I have ever heard from who likes the stock shocks over the OME's.

Sorry I took so long to respond guys, I have been very busy at work the past few days. You are correct it is full leafs and coils and yes I just ordered a 6.5" long arm lift from Rough Country. It has been a great lift and has performed really well in my opinion. Its just time to take that next step and clear 33's and possibly 35's in the future. Check out some pics of it in my project thread.

I also have the receipt from the original owner showing when it was purchased. Make me an offer.

Wow I just noticed your location 87cherokee14! I grew up and spent the first 19 years of my life in Torrington. Also spent a lot of time hanging out and working in Winsted.
